Unfortunately, if there are properties on the internet without the house number in the address, this generally means they are propagated by XxxxxxYyyy.  This website aggregates public records data and syndicates it to many Real Estate sites.  The business model is to get buyers to pay a monthly fee for the rest of the information needed to identify the houses.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;u&gt;As Shakespeare's work says:  &lt;strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;Therein lies the rub!&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Almost always; these properties are not available for sale.  For instance look at the property you mentioned on Avondale.  If you click on the detail info, you will see that the transfer date was September 22, “2010”.  This was the date of the Sheriff Sale on the courthouse steps.  After that Sheriff Sale, the current owner has a 180 day redemption period to pay in full the mortgage and accrued fees.  They can also live in the home until the redemption period expires.  Generally only the bank will bid to protect their own mortgage secured by the home.&lt;br /&gt;For a buyer or novice investor this is not a viable form of purchase.  First – the buyer has no access to the property to preview prior to purchase or within the next 180 days.  Second – the purchase can only be made in cash and must be delivered to the Courthouse by the end of the day of the Sheriff Sale.  Third – there can be no mortgage placed on the property until the end of the 180 day redemption period.  And just for good measure; the new buyer may have to complete the foreclosure and eviction process.  Just the highlights of the process;  not a complete overview!&lt;br /&gt;So to make a large topic short and incomplete – these homes are not for sale and the website is misleading!  This home was listed on the Multiple Listing Service on 4/1/2011 and sold 5/11/2011 for $140,000.  Almost all bank owned properties now go to the local MLS marketing service to insure a true market value for the bank and its shareholders. The year for groundwater to hit levels that they have never hit before -- at least in your neighborhood.  Following the Spring of 2010; we heard clients say they had lived in homes for 20 years or more and 2010 was the first year to get water in the basement.  It is very likely the Spring of 2011 could be the came story.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now is the time to check on the sump pumps, cords, water hoses and the like. Has the Sioux Empire seen Bank Owned properties hit the peak?&amp;nbsp; I don't know for sure but we have seen&amp;nbsp;pricing all over the board; from "value priced" to "it's not going to sell".&amp;nbsp; If buyers are looking for properties that need a little TLC, there are plenty to be found.&amp;nbsp; Sometimes these properties are&amp;nbsp;priced correctly and many times too high for the work needed to bring the property to&amp;nbsp;"Owner Occupied" standards.&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With all that being said, I believe there is actually a shortage of clean, well cared for properties on the market.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;em&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;THE COMMUNITY&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;Broadly speaking, the residents of Brandon are satisfied with their community and enjoy the “small town &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;feel of their city. In general, respondents were very positive about their experience with city services and &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;the quality of life in Brandon.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt; Respondents report that the small town feel, good schools, low crime rates and low tax rates all &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;make Brandon an appealing option for them.&lt;/strong&gt; Respondents also reported that if anything were to &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;cause them to leave Brandon it would most likely be a change in family status or better &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;employment opportunities.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt; Respondents are generally hopeful and satisfied with their quality of life in Brandon.&lt;/strong&gt; A majority of &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;respondents indicated they were hopeful about Brandon’s future and happy with the direction the &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;City of Brandon is moving.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt; Brandon residents are generally satisfied with the performance of their city government.&lt;/strong&gt; The &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;majority of respondents indicated that they were satisfied with City of Brandon’s performance in &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;general, and in a number of specific areas including water/sewer provision, street repair, and law &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;enforcement.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt; Most citizens feel safe in Brandon and feel that law enforcement and fire protection services are &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;adequate.&lt;/strong&gt; In addition to being effective, the majority of respondents indicated that Brandon Police &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;officers are also polite and helpful. Respondents made it clear that they have a strong sense of &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;security living in Brandon and consider the low crime rate one of the benefits of living in Brandon. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;However, a majority of community members did indicate concern about the use of drugs in the &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;community.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt; Brandon residents are generally satisfied with the affordability and availability of housing in &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Brandon.&lt;/strong&gt; The majority of respondents indicated that homes in Brandon are affordable. Almost &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;half of the respondents also indicated that they felt Brandon had enough starter homes and very &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;few community members indicated a need for more multi-family housing.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt; Most citizens are satisfied with the school system in Brandon.&lt;/strong&gt; A substantial majority of &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;respondents indicated they were satisfied with the quality of the facilities and education provided &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;in the Brandon Valley School District.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;strong&gt; Most citizens think Brandon is a healthy community to live in.&lt;/strong&gt; An overwhelming majority of &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"&gt;respondents agreed or strongly agreed that Brandon is a healthy community. GE later backed out, eliminating the immediate need for production at the South Dakota plant.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Tower Tech project at the Corson park was put on hold for eight months in 2009 while Broadwind built a similar plant in Texas and waited for the wind-energy industry to improve.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Construction resumed Sept. 1, 2009, and wrapped up earlier this year, Segvich said.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;“Construction of our wind turbine tower manufacturing facility in Brandon was completed,” he said.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Company officials have said they plan to employ 150 people at the facility, which would make the company one of the four largest employers in the area.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The equipment to produce wind towers is in place, but Segvich wouldn’t say when staff would be hired.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Earlier this year, Dave Hahne of North Sioux City was hired to be the plant manager.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tower Tech specializes in fabricating large, heavy towers that support wind-turbine blades. The plant has the capacity to produce 150 of the three-section towers per year.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Brandon plant is the company’s third manufacturing facility. The others are in Manitowoc, Wis., and Abilene, Texas.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Henry Carlson Co. was the general contractor for both the Brandon and Abilene projects. The plants are some of the biggest buildings – 1,150 feet by 100 feet – the construction company has built, said Jerry Fromm, who managed both projects.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They’re also the longest. The plant is nearly four times as long as a football field, with walls 51 feet high.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Once in production, assembly of the 200-foot-tall towers will begin at one end of the building and be completed at the other end.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The plant sits on 41 acres in the Corson Development Park on the north side of Interstate 90.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Broadwind executives said they chose the site near Brandon to produce towers near major wind and energy projects, which in turn would reduce transportation costs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Several wind farms are
