This may be the year. The year for groundwater to hit levels that they have never hit before -- at least in your neighborhood. Following the Spring of 2010; we heard clients say they had lived in homes for 20 years or more and 2010 was the first year to get water in the basement. It is very likely the Spring of 2011 could be the came story.
Now is the time to check on the sump pumps, cords, water hoses and the like. A hour or so now getting these items in order may save days of drying or even pulling carpet and sheetrock.
